ABOUT

The dog is domesticated. Yet, it is wild. Social yet solitary. He lingers under the lantern but eventually moves on. Forward, drifting from the light that offers clarity, protection, and warmth.

This work oscillates between prosperity and decay, faith and truth, conquest and serenity. It is an exercise in limitation and reduction, an attempt to say a lot with little.

In the words of David Byrne: “Simplicity is a kind of transparency in which subtle nuances can have outsized effects. When everything is visible and appears to be dumb, that's when the details take on larger meanings.”
